Why You Should Not Attempt To Scare Cats With Cucumbers

Though, the videos on social medias showing cats scared of cucumbers and different natural products are interesting, health experts especially veterinarians have advised people not to scare their cats with cucumbers or attempting any comparable tricks at home with their pet because doing so isn't great for their wellbeing.

Gary Richter, DVM, a veterinary health expert with Rover, said that individuals who are setting these recordings up are purposefully frightening a clueless creature. Dissimilar to a functional joke played on an individual, where the 'victim' comprehends what has occurred and ideally can laugh and forget about it a short time later, the cat remains in obscurity. They have no clue about what simply occurred and they stand to endure high level of stress and possibly critical behavioral changes afterwards. 

The Veterinarian said him and his colleagues see plenty of animals every day that have behavioral problems stemming from traumatic events. He said, though, the common 'layman' will not know tWhyhat this kind of jokes pose health risk to animals but is really not good for their health.
