Dizziness or Vertigo does not happen often for most people, but for some, it frequently occurs unless diagnosed and treated on time. Let us look at two the natural ways or remedies for dizziness and how we can adopt them.
Epley Maneuver
This is often recommend this for DIY vertigo treatment. The technique involves steps each night before sleep until the dizziness symptoms resolve in the next 24 hours. For instance, if vertigo symptoms occur from the left side and left ear, do the Epley Manoeuvre stepwise as underlined below.
Sit on the edge of a bed and turn your head 45 degrees to the left
Lie down quickly and face head up on the bed at a 45-degree angle
Stick to this position for 30 seconds
Now turn your head 90 degrees to the right without raising it for 30 seconds
Turn the head and entire body to the right side while looking downward for 30 seconds
Get up slowly but remain in a sitting posture on the bed for a few minutes
Follow the same directions in reverse order when you get vertigo on the right side of the right ear.
Semont Maneuver
This type of home remedy is for vertigo or dizziness on the left ear and side.
Steps
Sit on the edge of your bed.
Curve your head 45 degrees to the right.
Without losing a moment, lie down on your left side and stay in this position for 30 seconds.
Now change your sleeping position by lying on the opposite side of the bed.
Keep the direction of your head to a 45-degree angle and lie for 30 seconds. Look at the floor.
Return to the sitting position and wait for a few minutes.
Reverse these moves for the right ear.
Do these moves 3 times a day until you reach no-vertigo.
