Ultra-hygenic Enviroment In Youngster, More Illneses In Adult

Do you know that greater childhood exposure to common bacteria can protect adults from deadly diseases?

A study was conducted which compared American children to Filipino children. It was found out that young
Filipino adults had much less blood level of C-reactive protein, the concentration of which rises in response to inflammation because the Filipinos suffered many more infectious diseases as youngsters compared to their American counterparts.

Thomas McDade, associate professor at Northwestern University, Illinois, USA said:
“Our research suggests that ultra-clean, ultra-hygienic environments early in life may contribute to higher levels of inflammation as an adult, which in turn increases risks for a wide range of diseases.”
